The dongle is using the DinkeyOMS blocking feature but has not connected to DinkeyOMS recently. This is a timeout error.
Solution: the customer should run OMSRuntime on a computer with internet access with the dongle attached. [Note - the customer will need to do this at least every N days (where N is set by the developer in the DinkeyOMS portal). The easiest solution is to run OMSRuntime continually so this happens automatically].
If this error becomes a problem for the customer because they do not have a reliable internet connection then you could consider removing the dongle blocking feature for this dongle.
Note - the software owner would typically mark a dongle as blocked if the customer reported it as lost, damaged or stolen. A dongle can only be blocked if the dongle blocking feature is enabled. Even if a dongle is blocked then if the customer is offline they might be able to use the dongle for up to N days, before getting error 974. If they are online the dongle is blocked immediately and will give error 973.
