Setupdrv crashes

Problem: This problem is most likely caused by an old version of Setupdrv failing to install the parallel port driver (ddnt.sys). Setupdrv versions 3.6.2 and later only install the USB drivers by default.

Solution: Download the latest Dinkey SDK, which includes the most recent version of setupdrv. Run setupdrv /par /u to uninstall the parallel port drivers, then run setupdrv again to install only the USB drivers.
