Problem: There was an error reading from the dongle.

Solution: Ensure that your software is protected with the latest version of the SDK. Check that the computer's motherboard and/or USB adapter drivers are up-to-date. Also check the dongle and USB port for signs of damage or a loose connection.

On Linux, this error can occur if the 'inst' script was not run, or if an old version of 'inst' was used. Run the 'inst' script included with the latest SDK to resolve this problem.

This error can also occur if the computer went into sleep or hibernate mode and did not correctly restore power to the USB ports on wake-up.
