Problem: There was a problem reading the hidden .DO NOT DELETE.dat file from the flash disk of a Dinkey FD Lite dongle. The most likely cause is that the user deleted this file.

Solution: The dongle will still work if the user is running the affected program as administrator. To fully restore the dongle, run DinkeyChange and select 'Tools > Restore Dinkey FD Lite' from the menu, or call the DCRestoreDinkeyFDLite() DinkeyChange API function. DinkeyChange or the program that calls the DinkeyChange API must be run as administrator for the restore function to succeed.
