Error: the process was blocked by another process accessing the dongle for a considerable time.

Solution This other process may have crashed or may be 'not responding' and now the operating system is in an odd state. Terminatig this program or, if that fails, rebooting should fix this problem.

If can also be caused if many different processes or threads are trying to access the dongle at the same time.

In rare cases it can occur if a previous error occurred during a protection check. In this case please look-up the previous error and contact Microcosm support.
