FIDO Security Keys Multi-Factor Authentication Devices
FIDO security keys are small devices that enable secure login to websites and web applications. They are the solution to the problem of weak passwords, phishing scams, hacking and keyloggers.
What is FIDO Authentication?
FIDO is a set of open standards for two-factor and multi-factor authentication created by the FIDO Alliance. FIDO stands for Fast IDentity Online and uses public-key cryptography to provide strong authentication in order to protect users online.
Authentication using a FIDO key is simple - the user simply plugs in the device and touches the button or they can just tap an NFC FIDO key against their smartphone or tablet for authentication on mobile.
